The Weekly Upload for December 22nd - Final Show

Is this Aaron's fault? I blame Aaron regardless.

Holy shit...just started listening, and am almost in tears. 
TWU was actually one of the very first podcasts I ever listened to...so many memories starting with the show, and then getting together to play with everyone in the community. 
I'll refrain from a long memory-recap, and just say: Farewell, TWU, and long live Loading Reality!

TWU was one of my first gaming podcasts as well. I have many fond memories being in High School and ignoring my teachers and just listening to the wonders of Ryan and Kari's voices (Fuck Aaron and his Blazblue bashing). 
TWU was the reason I came to LR and part of this awesome community. I'll miss the podcast, but I'm glad the podcast was around to meet all of you lovely peeps (especially Wicked).

Guys, for those who don't know, I'm the Jason that started off doing the Truth Regret podcast with Aaron, aka MrGri3ves, aka Colossi, aka SpartanSam034. Thanks to the hosts for my brief little cliff note in LR pre-history. You guys took this thing from a few inches out of the dirt, as far as I could manage to get it, and flew it into the upper atmosphere. 

And I want to give Aaron a very special thank you for taking that first, harrowing step off a cliff with me and recording for that first rambling, awful, dreadful episode in 2006. I know any amount of credit I try to claim to the cast's herculean achievement is going to sound petty and small. But Aaron has been with this thing the longest and deserves all the credit in the world for sticking with it to the very end. 

I just regret that we could never see eye to eye on Dead Rising's brilliance. 

Now that that's out of the way... 

We recorded 12 episodes for Truth Regret, for the record. And how do I know?

I loved every minute spent helping and listening to The Weekly Upload. Aaron, your crazy passion for the games you enjoyed and the ones you hated was entertaining and an interesting contrast to Ryan's equally as hardcore view. Ryan, you guided the show along and held it together with your witty commentary on the "other" side of the games. Kari, you are awesome in every way possible. I loved hearing what you were eating each week. 

The Weekly Upload will forever be remembered in my heart.

It has been an absolute pleasure recording this podcast for the last three years. I have learned a ton and made life long friends because of this little weekly recording. Thank you for listening. I'll definitely miss the recording sessions with Aaron and Ryan. It's been great. <3

Its been great listening to you guys as well. And Edge your voice was never that bad man, even in Truth Regret. I still enjoyed it then haha. 

Never gonna forget the minute of bashing I got from Kari when I went on a Needler rampage that one time. 

Also that this truly was a great undertaking that honestly I thought would fizzle out by episode 18 of Truth Regret...that you created an entire website and community around that single idea is a feat of undertaking that should be praised and copied by other websites. 

Oh wait...it has been copied haha. Just not as well done as this one was.

This is truly a sad time. I really enjoyed every episode you guys put out. I have been there from the beginning and will continue to refer to this site as my resource for video game info. 

I think the best part about the podcast was that you guys didn't get advance copies of the games. It was always helpful to hear what games you guys were talking about and that would help me figure out my next game purchase. 

Best of luck with the rest of the site. LR will continue to be my homepage. 

P.S. In one of your future, year-end, "best of" shows, can we get an appearance from Mutt-Mutt?

I remember listening to episodes in my Civic on my way to work every week back in the day. I've kicked it with TWU every episode and enjoyed them all. 

Can't wait to hear next years GoTY episode.

I started to play my Xbox 360 a lot more and stop being a little Sony fanboy because of the podcast. You made my gaming life far better than it previously was.

Yeah, I don't know where I'm going to get good game recommendations from now on...a lot of purchases have been based on TWU feedback & reviews. 

So many of our lives were affected or otherwise inspired by this podcast. Personally, it's been the highlight of my workweek for the past few years (it's got me through more than one boring day where I'm buried in web code). 
If it weren't for TWU, I wouldn't have had a chance to meet or get to know any of you. I probably wouldn't have heard about PAX either...at least not until it came to Boston this year. 
Heh...I just realized that even my LR avatar was inspired by TWU's pre-Halo3 talk.
